More About Billy...
He moved to the “Big City”/DFW area in 1991 to attend UT Arlington and to pursue his life-long love, Stacey Riggle, now Stacey Reynolds, with whom he celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2014. After almost 20 years in the corporate world of sales and medical device consulting, Billy is living the dream of owning and leading his own company. Together with Stacey and his business partner, they now have both a real-estate franchise company and a real-estate investing company and are dedicated to concierge level service for all their clients.
During his time at UT Arlington, Billy became so intrigued by the advancements he saw in medicine and technology that he decided to pursue a career in the medical field vs the engineering path he had originally planned to pursue. In that pursuit he became a Certified Surgical Technologist, First Assistant, and NCT Radiology Technician, working both for a hospital and then for a private physician helping to run his office and surgery center. As his knowledge and interest increased in medicine and technology, he began to be recruited by medical sales companies. To hone his outside selling skills, he sought out one of the best training companies for sales, Lanier Worldwide. Lanier mirrored one of the most respected training organizations ever, Xerox, to become a dominant player in the document production and medical transcription fields. After becoming one of the most productive sales reps in his district, he was tapped to become the youngest District Sales Manager they had ever had. In this role, he trained and molded young professionals at the beginning of their sales career. This was probably the first time that he discovered how much he really enjoyed coaching, teaching, and consulting with others, a theme that would dramatically impact his next steps. In early 2000, after being approached multiple times by a prominent medical sales company, Billy decided to join his interest and knowledge in medicine and his love for teaching, coaching, and consulting, to pursue the path of a high-end medical device consultant. In both representative and management roles, this allowed him to come along-side physicians and healthcare professional staff alike, both in the office and in the Operating Room, to bring minimally invasive technologies to their patients that would dramatically improve their quality of life. This was a path he would pursue for the better part of two decades. However, something changed in 2006 that began the thought of a “new course”. In 2006, Stacey and Billy welcomed their firstborn son, followed three years later by their second. As any parent understands, this had a much more dramatic impact on both of their lives than they could ever imagine. The changes helped influence them both to seriously consider the legacy they would leave and how best to achieve those goals. So, together, they began to explore where they could have the greatest impact on other lives using her skills, talents, and knowledge in real estate and his in consulting, sales, and new technology. They kept coming back to real estate as the foundation for that plan. So over the past few years, they expanded their education base, achieved advanced certifications and licensures, and began two real estate companies. The first, Maverick Legacy, is dedicated to investments and eventual financial independence and Billy serves as the managing partner in this organization. The second, the Reynolds Home Team, is dedicated to consulting, education, and training to share their knowledge with others as they pursue the American dream. Billy is committed to leading this team through their next growth phases as they add and train new staff to become the go-to resource for those who look to pursue their dreams. And so, life has come full circle as he strives to consult, teach, and educate.
